“I thought the break would win but Bora worked very hard today. I’m happy with the way I felt in the climb and the sprint today. You never know how you’re going to feel after a training camp and I felt pretty good in the last two days and in the last sprint. We’re in a good spot. Of course it’s always nice to wear a jersey and especially on the Dauphine. There is so much history, you have to respect the race and it’s a privilege to wear a jersey. Hopefully we can change the colour by the end of the week.”
