  “I thought it was possible to win the stage but it was hard to beat Primoz. I’m not a sprinter I don’t have a lot of jump but I did the best I could. I’m not the new team leader, Jonas (Vingegaard) is at another level and all the signs are good for him. He’s training well and I’m confident he will be there at the Tour and be strong. On each race I discover new limits and I hope to go on like this and that my level continues to rise.”
