“It was not too bad, I was at the front all day but the legs were no longer there and I had to take my own pace until the finish. There are no worries, I’m working on my form so there’s nothing special. The gap was a big one and I know I still have a lot of work to do. For me, it’s not a surprise to be dropped in such a steep climb, I know I still don’t have the form to play with the best. That’s life.”
