Carlos Rodriguez: “The plan was respected”

”It’s a nice finish to the week. I was feeling good the whole race. Of course I’m happy. I must thank my team-mates who sacrificed themselves from the start of the stage. The plan was respected to the letter and I’m glad I was able to finish it off.  The idea was to have someone in the break to help me in the last climb if necessary. That’s what we did. I was feeling very well in the last climb and every little detail worked perfectly and I really thank everybody. This is of course good for my confidence and I’m glad that the legs responded the way I wanted until the end.”
